I am Gian Luca Pallai, a professional photographer and journalist registered with the Italian Order of Journalists (no. 183594). I plan each assignment around the programme, key participants and intended use of the images: press offices, corporate communications, websites, social media and company archives. Based in Rome and Otricoli, Umbria, I cover events and conferences throughout Italy.

Before the event, I review the programme, speaker information and communication priorities. During the event, I coordinate with organisers, stage managers and video crews, working discreetly and stepping in only when a photograph requires brief organisation.

A non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence for the commissioning organisation. It covers websites, organic social media, newsletters, internal communications, presentations, reports, press releases and press kits, editorial publications and the corporate archive. A photo credit is appreciated where practical.

Advertising campaigns

How do you handle confidential events?
Confidentiality is agreed before the assignment. When the client requires it, photographs are not published, distributed or used in my portfolio.

Do you cover conferences outside Rome?
Yes. I work from Rome and Otricoli in Umbria and take assignments throughout Italy. Travel and accommodation costs, where applicable, are detailed in the quote.
